Weather's been great here in Mass, most of the snow has melted (in my area), so I took advantage of the nice weather and fired up the Explorer at one of my favorite old parks- nothing spectacular, but a 45-P War nickel gets me on the board for the year, and I also found 14 wheats- oldest was 1919. Felt good to get out again after a few months off.

Nice find, those war nickles can be real tricky some times. Is it a nickle, or is it another tab? Who cares just dig and hope for the best. Keep up the good work!

Congratualtions on the war nickel, silver is silver and the wheat cents. :occasion14:

If there is silver coins in the area the Explorer SE will sniff them out, great machine!

Congrats on pulling the OD Nickel Jeff. :occasion14:
