OK. I rarely visit our TN 'Everything Else' Lounge…..but it is vital that I share this life altering experience with you.
So……I had potato pizza for the first time 2 years ago (Ferri’s Pizza in Moscow, Pa) and it absolutely BLEW MY MIND!
WOW! I never imagined that somethingnamed as such would be so phenomenally delicious! I cannot even describe it to ya – But if I were FORCED to……Imagine the best Potato, Cheddar, & Onion pierogi you’ve ever had…and multiply that taste by ten!
No…..maybe it’s just Ferri’s Pizza – they’ve been featured on WNEP Newswatch 16 a few times over the past few weeks and it’s been featured in the newspapers. Though there are quite a few area establishments that do potato pizza, Ferri’s is apparently the reigning potato pizza champion.
The catch? They only serve it during Lent.
I cannot believe it took me this long to discover it……
Anyways - I had it again today for the first time since last Lenten season.
Anyone else a Potato Pizza fan ?
Here's my pics from today:
<sorry - I didn't realize there was a smudge on the camera lens!>
Our Lovely Server:
And the place is chock FULL of genuine coal/mine memorabilia.
Actual tools, equipment, uniforms, photos, two TV's playing coal documentaries, pay stubs, stock certificates, etc....
