DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!!!!

I went back to an old house site near where I live this morning for a bit. The house was built in 1924. Last time I was there I found a couple of wheat pennies and a foreign coin 19787 franc coin. Well went back this morning for a bit with my Teknetics T2 detector. Found a couple more wheat pennies. Found a 1947 nickel and then I hit a good pulltab signal. Now I dont normally dig pull tabs even though I should. However this one was a very strong pulltab signal and strong signal. So I dug it up. OMG! I ABOUT PASSED OUT when I seen the gold shining. At first I thought it was a gold pendant but as I scraped the dirt away I realised its a 1914 COIN!!! LOL I am still in shock. And not just that it already has been made into a necklace. It is a france coin I think Has a rooster on the back. 20 francs. I am so escited. Never thought this would actually happen!!

Thanks guys for looking! VERY HAPPY to share this adventure with yall! Thanks for any comments! Think I might go tomorrow to see what its worth. Not sure If I will sell yet. =)

Gold just stirs a human emotion that is hard to describe but we all experience it when we are surprised by its sight, no need to apologize about your reaction, we would all have done the same. Congratulation and good luck on finding more soon.

Happy to give you a pinch, but I'd rather steal you beautiful coin/pendant! Congrats.

Thanks for the comments! I am still shaking lol. I never thought this would ever happen. Its so rare! I see where everyone else found those coins but never thought lady luck would bring me one!

Good for you!! And just one more example of ya never know what's gonna show up and where.

Great find ! I have found a few gold rings (no gold coins yet ) and I remember the thrill when I saw that gold with the dirt still
on it - Maybe there's a lovely lady in your life who would really like to wear that !

Thanks all. I just found out the gold value in the coin is around 230 dollars ;)

There just, simply, is nothing better than seeing gold shining back up out of a freshly dug hole.

Congratulations!

Must be the year of the gold coin...Congrats, that would've been sweet coming out of the ground...

That's awesome!. What an incredible find!. I thought I was fortunate enough to find one the other day but it ended up being one of those gold religious pendants that wasn't even real gold. Congrats! I would never sell it. :laughing7:

"A thousand men, say, go searchin' for gold. After six months, one of them's lucky: one out of a thousand. His find represents not only his own labor, but that of nine hundred and ninety-nine others to boot. That's six thousand months, five hundred years, scramblin' over a mountain, goin' hungry and thirsty. An ounce of gold, mister, is worth what it is because of the human labor that went into the findin' and the gettin' of it."

That is one sweet find !
