I been exploring the park next door to me with alot of success. I have pulled 25 IHP's and a serious wad of silver out of this park in the last mont. Today I decided to go back to the beach area where I got 5 nice silver dimes last night in a few hours, when I arrived two fellow T-netters were there and all ready pounding the beach pretty hard. After introducing myself and enjoying some talk I decided to leave them be and hit a different area just down from them. I dug a few deep wheat signals when then I get a deep signal that was ringing the right kinda sound I like. After cutting the plug and dig a large amount of sand back I get a good tone from my Garrett pinpointer screaming at me. I keep digging with the hole getting deeper and deeper, now I am thinking that I Am no longer gonna find a coin and this has got to be a piece of junk. Finally a large object appears in the hole, I reach in and pull out this huge heavy piece of what ever????? I flip it over and instantly see US on it!!! I know from seeing the posts by the Relic hunters here this is something very special! I yell at the two fellows I had met earlier and they come over to see what the fuss is about. One offers a jug of water to wash it off and now we see the two knobs and the big hook!!!!!! WOW!!!! We give high fives and just smile!!!!! Who would have ever thought to find a buckle of this caliber in northern most Wisconsin! So all you relic guys got info on this buckle I sure would like to know as much as possible and even if has a dollar value I would like to know that also. Thanks for looking:D

That is a Civil war buckle. It is called a puppy paw because of the round hooks on the back.. Congrats.
