OMG I DID IT... MY FIRST SILVER and TWO OF EM... YIPPIE

It kept looking like it was gonna rain...should I run to the football field/tot lot? off I went..as I was annoyed and needed to get out...well, am a plugging away, with my new M6 ( please remember I am rookie) so I am finding coins...yay me...more than I usually find...as I was only there like 1 1/2 hrs.... so I am tossing em all in my holder and come home...didnt think anything of it...one coin bugged me...it screamed on the detector, but my coil was right underneath it..just laying there on top of the dirt... well, I come home and said omg I think its silver...then I found another one... dirty deep it was both dimes are roosevelts 1962 and 1964 PLEASE TELL ME I AM RIGHT...as I am so dang excited to finally find something..it may not be old but heck its my first real silver finds in coins.. I AM SO EXCITED..... here my lil batch of goodies.. oh I was thinking since it was laying on the grass in the football field..maybe some one helped themselves to someones coin collection or just potluck for me..

the two silver dimes....lordy I hope so or my bubbles gonna burst..

Oh phew..I was so worried I looked em up wrong..I AM SO SUPER EXCITED... I know they are not oldies..but heck..its my first silver coins and TWO omg I am thrilled to death..if this dont knock the jelly jar right off the shelf, I dont know what does... I AM A HAPPY Dectector today YIPPIE

For kicks listen to the clang as they drop onto a hard surface compared to a clad dime. I love the sound of silver!!!

coins made in 1964 or older are silver, dimes quarters, halves and dollars. halves and dollars still had some silver in them until 1970.

I wear a mercury dime ( silver ) that I bought years ago at some coin shop ( I used to make coin jewelry outta not good coins...so this is so exciting for me..my first real real finds even thou its not that old but heck, I DID IT... I am so very proud of myself...now I WANT MORE
