To be persuasive, you would first have to be reasonable and then present a cogent argument as to why I am wrong.

You have done neither. You either do not have a grasp of the situation or are part of the problem of wishing to trade freedoms for security.

The Founding Fathers, and Benjamin Franklin in particular, understood that giving up freedoms in exchange for promised security will rob you of both --- and thus you would not be deserving of either.

Trade freedoms for security......sounds like a lopsided trade to me. Just like social insecurity works. They take money from us now with the promise of benifits later on. Problem is its an empty promise.....
