Here is todays haul. The chinese coin was on the surface and lost in the last week. It is my oldest coin of the year anyway so I will take it. :P The flattened penny is a souvenier from the Alta ski resort near Salt Lake. I have never watched the OC on Fox but found a pendant for the show. I thought the heart pendant was silver, but my wife informed me it is a charm from a pair of Skechers shoes. The coin count was 26 quarters, 29 dimes, 3 nickles, and 35 pennies for a total of 93. If I would have known I was that close to 100 I would stayed an extra few minutes.

that's a good days hunting, did you find them at a park or at a old homesite?

half at the main park in Highland(Heritage), and the other half at a good spot in Pleasant Grove where I hit 16 quarters in 90 minutes. It is park like on LDS church property

You kicked some butt there Bud. I found one of those pendents too, and thought maybe it might be silver. I thought the other side said teachers girl, but now after putting it under my loupe, I see it says Skechers girl. Now I know. Tell the wife thanks for identifying one of my unknowns. That's an impressive quarter count. Way to go!!!!

Thanks Piggman, you are one of my favorites on t-net so always good to hear from you. That pendant sure looked like silver to me and I was just going to look for a mark when my wife gave me the news. Apparently my daughter begged her for a pair of the shoes but they are expensive and trendy so my wife said no(that is a miracle in itself). Til later, keep in findin...Ryan
