I'm still swinging the F75LTD I picked up back in 2014 and when I hunt in the local beaches I pull out the 1280X.

It depends on where I'm going and what I'm trying to find.

Sadly my oldest detectors are now long gone. My favorite when I first started was the Excal and still miss having one.
Now it’s the Equinox for me.

I keep a Compass 77b, circa 1973 to '75-ish handy. They were good for seeing through nails. Like in ghost-townsy environments. In all other ways it is a dinosaur . Ie.: limited to 4" or 5" of depth, and no other form of discrimination, and not good in minerals. But in certain situations/needs, it still has a place.

The oldest I still use is a Fisher CZ3D which was produced in 2004.
