they might nice curios in the future but they'll never be rare or valuable due to the high printing quantities - billions and billions

I understand that 76 and lower are the ones to save. Only if they're in cu condition though. I hate this new money, it's got nothing but junque written all over it.

Hey Davest,

I know how you feel about these crappy new bills. Please send me all the lousy new bills that you get and I'll get rid of them for ya!!

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

While it's true that they were printed in large quantity, they have become somewhat scarce due to the Fed. Reserve pulling every one they get. How many have you seen recently?
Respectfully,
Scott

"Scarce" and "Scarcely seen in common circulation" are two different things though. While it's true the older notes are not commonly seen in circulation anymore, and the federal reserve does pull all the old style notes due to 'fitment' regulations, too many were saved to really hold much collector interest.

i only save the 70's back and that is if they are in at least good condition. got one the other day that was a 1963 series, it was WORN out. didn't save it
