Old violin and clarinet

The clarinet is in an odd case as well. I think the Violin is from the 1930’s and is from Germany. If anyone can tell me anything about these and there worth that would be great. Look in the left side f hole of the violin and see if there is a label in there. If not, give the bridge a closer look and see if there is a name stamped on it.

The inside says Amedee Dieudonne and I found a date of 1936 or 1938 all inside the violin.

The case is labeled Lifton built like a fortress made in the usa

If you can get a better look at the label it would be worth your while.

You would be looking for a label like this

Then, I would stick it back in the case, take it to a reputable person who will probably recommend restoring it for selling at an auction. Its quite well worn in its current state by the looks of it, which is OK in some auctions especially if there is a trace of provenance for it. One of these from 1938 just sold here in the UK for over £6000 so its well worth doing some work on it.
