Hello

I am new at this forum. I will be happy if somebody help me to identify my treasure which I found at the seaside.
I have no idea how old it can be. I was looking for on Internet and there were many spoons with various signatures and engraver but I couldnt find similar to mine. It is in poor condition but there is something visible on it. Could anyone have an eye on and say something about that item? Thanks :) Ela

Looks more like a ladle ? Due to the size of the bowl maybe.

I was thinkin maybe the crack would be wider if it was a flat ladle. But, idk. One of those pics IS the back. But, i can't see if anything is stamped between the bends.

Definitely silver plate on brass, as already mentioned, likely a serving spoon due to it's overall length. :icon_scratch:
What you can do is search on line for pics of cutlery with a similar handle/shaft.

More than likely it was once silver over copper (not brass) which was the commonly useed base metal. It's overall length is what negates it from being a serving spoon. Way too small. Your spoon depicts a monk.
If you do a google image search of plated monk spoons you will see many varieties to search from.

edit... ps- also it would have been considered a collector spoon or demitasse spoon by the small size, which appears to be around 4" or so when flattened out.
