Old Sterling Silver Cufflink? Unknown gold plated Jewelry?

I found these two objects metal detecting within a few feet of one another. The 1st, marked Sterling on the back, looks like an old cufflink, any idea on how old this item is? Or any potential value. The last one is a small piece of jewelry in the shape of a flower, with two broken off parts to it. Can anyone tell me what this is, and give a potential date range? Both of these items come from a site dating as far back as pre-1890.
