Hello all! I got out for a few hours today with Shovelnose, I was very happy to have the day off! We hit an old apartment complex from the 1940s that's being torn down, it is very trashy to say the least. My first good signal was this piece of a silver ring, it was actually right on top of the ground. It looks very old to me, all hand engraved. You can make out the letters LAN and what may be a date. At first glance it looks like 1911 but very crude if it is. Are my eyes just playing tricks on me Has anyone ever seen a ring similar to this? Any insight on age or anything would be appreciated! Too bad I could not find the other half... I also pulled a 62 Rosie (only silver coin of the day) and 2 wheaties. It wasn't a record setting day but it was great to get out & get a couple keepers. Im ready for Fall, these skeeters are terrible! Thanks for looking & HH!
