Houston, TX.
[size=14pt]I was checking out some old search sites to go to and I found the tip of the wings sticking out of the ground. I dug it out and found this old radiator cap. I don't know what kind of old car it came off of but I'm sure it's old. This is an old site where there used to be houses near an old copper mine that was in operation between 1857 and 1930. I wish I would have dug a little deeper, I might have found the rest of the car ;D Now all I have to do is figure out how to get a picture of it on here. >:(

Hey pilgrim, Here's a picture I found of a 1928 Essex Couch with your Radiator cap. I'm from Houston also, well actually lake Conroe. let me know if you want to hunt together sometime.

Very nice find, and a great piece of history too, WTG!!!
I was off hunting for an ID last night for so long, I forgot to come back to reply to the post... lol
Good job on the ID... I knew I had seen several of those in the past, but just couldn't remember which automobile they were off of...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Antique car phoey, I am still driven to work at the nuclear power plant every day in my practically new Essex. Smithers picks me up at 5:00 AM sharp, jumpstarts my heart and away we go at a breath taking 15 mph! He has a lead foot! Monty
