Old Makeup Compact Lid

I went out today for about 2 hrs, didn't find much. However I did find a nice find. I found a compact powder makeup lid. It was not all that deep, maybe 3'' to 4'' deep. The name of this powder make up is Cara Nome. It is a vintage compact lid, I'd say its 1920's 1930's maybe.

(EDIT, at first I thought this was a pocket watch lid. Well, after cleaning it up a bit I saw some words on the side of the lid. It says ''Cara Nome". I looked ''Cara Nome'' up and it is makeup.)

At first sight I got the impression it was a lid from a compact.
