Hey guys,

Out working the Safari again today in Charleston and found a bunch of pistol and musket round balls. A few items though have me stumped: First is an ornately decorated copper plate (thinking maybe a horse bridal). Its 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches and has a raised decoration of cherubs with bow, person with harp, and birds. This is a unique decoration of each of the four surfaces. The next is a hollow brass item (thread visible inside) with a brass loop on the top. It measures 1.5 inches in diameter (found on the coast near a river). The next is a metal item with a hole along the longer arched part. It is 1.25 inches long and .75in along the wider section- I believe the metal is pewter or copper given the lack of corrosion...pistol component?. Finally is what appears to be a small hammered copper coin. It is slightly smaller than a penny and very thin. I believe I see the image of a gator on the front, however I cannot be sure. No indications of a prior shank so I know its not a button. Any help is greatly appreciated!
