Old Pewter Button

Dug this old pewter button this evening in a woods across from my home. The only readable part is " AR & JACKSON" Could this be an Andrew Jackson Button ? The button is about the size of a Nickel. Thanks for any help

Yea, no clue, but it could be an old "Old Hickory" button

Spear & Jackson Tools. They are a tool manufacturer from England. http://www.spear-and-jackson.com/en/about-us The company history goes back more than 200 years.
If it wasn't pewter I would guess it is part of a saw handle. Best guess is 1870's to 1920's. I have found a bunch of these, but most are brass. See the image:
