Old people doing new stuff

Greetings from the flatland of Central Kansas. Retired a few years back and always wanted to try metal detecting. About a year ago we acquired a Minelab 800 and going to be picking up a ctx3030 in the next few days. Been digging the usual spots, parks, lakes, old farms, etc. No spectacular finds yet but we will not be discouraged. My usual partner is my wife of 57 years and she enjoys it as much as I do.
