Old Mills around ponds

There are several structures at a local pond I fish. An old store where you pay to fish and others in the wooded area towards the dam. Is this a good spot and what would I llook to find? I also know of a stone chimney along a well traveled road near a river. I tried there once and a lot of trash and suggestions for using a cz 5 or bounty hunter pioneer at a site like these. Also not sure about needing permission at these sites. I would think so. thanks. Phillip

GET PERMISSION,sounds like some great sites if you found trash i think the good stuff will follow.Most MD will remove the trash if it had been hunted.Good luck.HH

All of those areas sound like good ones. You should be able to decide who you need to ask for permission, depending on whether you are on public or private property. If it's private hopefully you can identify the owner. I like the sound of the store where the fishermen paid and also the old rock chimney. Let us know how it goes with these sites! Jim Cal
