I have these two old buttons. On the front, there are 13 stars and on the back it says "New York Button Works." Any ideas on how old these are and their worth??
All opinions are appreciated!!

Those are US Air Force. They came into existence in 1947. I can't find that backmark in my book, but I wouldn't think they are too valuable as they are still made today.

They were in use until 1999 that is when our Blues were changed to the current style Blues (Adopted in 1993, mandatory in 1999) which use the Hap Arnold buttons instead. Although the USAF came about in Sept 1947, we did not get our own Air Force specific uniforms until 1949. So the buttons were in use from 1949 to 1999.

I read "City Button Works; New York" on the back of your button. That company was organized in 1895. But, ffuries gave you all the information you need to date them.
