Old Medal ?

I found this years ago and i have never found out anything on it. it is 2"1/4. it was found sticking out of the mud in the middle of a field in Madison Co, KY. Home of fort Boonesboro. ? thanks for any help. Randy

just wanted to bump it back to the top to see if anyone else has any idea's on this. has anyone seen anything like this before. i sent it to E.K.U. once. but no results. Robert la salle got lost a lot. maybe he lost this too. lol,

I think I would look up the coat of arms on some heraldry related website as each quadrant on the sheild represents something about the namesake.I had a sheild of arms made up for me for a christmas present one time by a company in vermont.
