New member here. Testing out Fisher F5 in yard and found these items among a ton of square cut nails. Lead bar is approx 3" long 3/4" wide and 1/4" thick. The item I thought was a thimble is 2-9/16ths around and 1-1/8 inches tall. It is iron property from 1850's and up. I have found a lot of lead especially at houses that burned down. The thimble thing does not look like a thimble due to the metal it is made of. Maybe a candle snuffer. Does it have a spot on the top where a rod was connected?
