I like the Quinine, old treatment for Malaria.

These are medical supplies. The Quinine hydrochlorate was used in the treatment of malaria, lupus and arthritis.
The Kalium Sulfuricum is just potassium sulfate which is used in treating infection, rashes, inflammation and fever. It was commonly used to treat the measles and laryngitis.

Careful if you have any ether bottles with precipitate in it. That is highly explosive. Calcium (pure metal) ignites in air and sodium (pure metal) ignites in water resulting in a strong base (sodium hydroxide) and hydrogen gas (very flammable, and the ingniting sodium can ignite the gas). Hopefully everything you have is some medicine and not bad chemicals.

PS: Age? I would guess 1870s to 1880s.

Im sure it is in many countries. I use Quinine for the treatment of leg cramps but its getting hard to find in the USA. I bought my last batch here in Miami imported from South America. Some old bottles may be still on the shelf. I use it very sparingly as needed. Nothing else seems to work so effecient and fast. http://www.resource4thepeople.com/defectivedrugs/quinine.html

FDA Reaction on Quinine

Officially, the FDA has approved only one drug, Mutual Pharmaceutical Company, Inc.'s Qualaquin, for use to treat malaria. No other quinine-containing drugs have been approved, even though hundreds of these drugs are currently on the market. Many of these products are also specifically marketed for this controversial off-label use.

In December of 2006, the FDA issued a press release announcing that firms were immediately ordered to stop manufacturing and marketing quinine-containing substances for off-label usages, specifically for the treatment of leg cramps. The government agency cited the troubling statistics above as a basis for this order.

Actually thats the same quinine that I have. But mine says Hylands tabletas con quinina para calambresen las piernas pm. It may be the only one left on the market.

Don't know but I would order a couple or three boxes quick

They may get around the law because they are homeopathic. I only take one pill after (or before)walking 5 miles or more in the swamp/mud for the first time when cramps are sure to follow..

Im sure the use here was for malaria. The century of the bottles can be dated by the seams.

No malaria in the USA as far as I know.

I also wonder the shelf life. Ill bet its a lot stronger than Hylands.
