Sorry...but I dont know anybody to bounce ideas off of so I will be wearing u guys out alot. I have been hunting for about a year and there are many things I have questions on...This site is great. Even when I get put in my place!!!! knife is a import muskrat series knife 70s-80s good finds

Knife isn't a "muskrat" pattern, it is called a "slimline trapper" The delrin scales (handles) indicate made from 1960s-now. Looks like a cheaply made one, Goldn could be right about it being an import but it could be made by Colonial or one of the other American manufacturers of lower end pocket knives. You'll never know the maker for sure due to the severe rust.
