Environmental damage. Looks like you hit it with the diggin' tool also. On Ebay....it make sell for $1.00. Sorry, but that's the reality of what you have. Hogge
 

I think they ran over it with the big bulldozer, they were moving dirt. It was lying on top of the road, waiting for,me.
 

lol thats the best thing to find i found a quarter once also lying on top of the grass half buried not real old not silver ugh.
 

I had a friend of mine in Richmond County,VA dig a 1888 over 7 Indian Head. They are worth a few hundred bucks in fine condition. Everytime you see a 1888 Indian Head always double check too make sure it is not a 1888/7. Pawn shops have been known too have 1888/7 and not even know it.
