Old ID PLATE MARKED M&M

Don't think it's the candy, lol. Found in an historic area of town, 1 1/2" wide with 4 prongs in back. Looks like it's aluminum. Any help appreciated.

closest thing i could find was a m&m diamond logo..m&m electric motor repair.lol. very interesting i am curious what it is
