I got a short hunt in today after church. It’s an old homesite that I’ve been hunting for a few months and the property owner cleared more land where the home once stood. We’ve dug several flat buttons there along with musket balls and one brass trade bead. Today, I got lucky and found this button! It’s a keeper. I’ll take a Seminole Indian War military button any day. They are pretty scarce around here.
