Found these items at the same home site (permission granted). I think all of them are brass. Anyway, I am particularly interested in knowing what kind of buckle this is or what it might have been for etc. Would it be called a 'square' or 'double-D' type buckle? Maybe it was for a harness or small utility strap, though it is pretty delicate so I can't see it having been used for anything requiring great durability. A boot strap buckle??

The washer looking item is 1/4" thick and weighs 2.5 ounces. I was wondering if this might be a weight of some kind. Any ideas?

All suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The type of buckle is post-1900, but it would be hard/impossible to say what kind of strap buckle is was used for. (other than what you have stated, plus maybe a hat buckle)

Crusader,

Thanks for the response. Going out today to find something else. Wish me luck!
