When A friend of mine told me about an abandoned old gas station (late 30's?) that was being demolished I had to check it out. My friend showed me a nice haul of bottles he got, mostly cokes from the 40's but some nehi's as well. I hit the area that once held a soda machine on a cement slab and came up with 4 Roosie dimes and 5 wheaties in the smashed up cement. Digging thru the rubble I pulled up some interesting things like the table pool 14 ball, the usable fixtures from a towel rack, brass air hose fixture and the giant brown swirl shooter marble. I also hit the little patch of grass behind the place where a trailer home stood. Lots of clad, toy car and motorcycle and this bullet I first thought a civil war 3 ringer but it is copper jacketed and oddly the tip looks to have been "rammed" with a ram rod, once again similar to CW bullets. Im going to theorize it was a round from a modern day black power rifle that missed its "Big Buck" target. Checked in a small wooded gully and came upon a number of bottles including this one I have no clue to what it is, has a screw top and a number 7 on bottom. Any of you bottle Gurus are welcome to venture a opinion. But the PRIZE of that pile was a nice berekely club 12 oz red/white label.
