Couldnt find very much info but i found one kind of like it on ebay

It seems to be old because of the rounded top, i dont know too much about bottles im just guessing.

I dont know. My turn-of-the-century American glass manufacturer's catalog shows that wicker bottles were available to prevent breakage but the pattern does not appear to match and most of the samples had handles. Here are a few pics. I just dont know but Im leaning towards a foreign manufacture..
