old find still no clue?

whites silver eagle
hi folks,
found this chaintype thing on a old farmstead.it has 15 long soft brass or copper things,and the connecting loops are of soft medal too.
any ideas as what the heck they or it was for? as you can see there are eygptian type sybols on the long links

allright guys:
what you see is all there is no buckle, just the long links and round connectors.
this farm was built in the early 1800. but at one time owned by a store owner.
he had the store from 1890 to 1925. it burnt in that year.
in a shed near the old house i found some tobbaco plug markers. I'll post them some time.being not found with a detector not for this forum i would think.
also they're use to be a fair grounds across the road on his land.

It seems that the motif is repeated 14 time, all way round.
Someone presents something to a king or God?

looks exactly like a piece of costume jewelry (necklace) that was in my wife's fathers antique store....except the one there had an aztec design and was from the mid 50's

I think it was a belt that the women wore around their outfits. My wife has one but with fishes for links....

I have a similar item such as yours....but it has a vintage pocket watch attached to the end of it. A watch fob.....from around 1920 to 1925, Egyptian revival jewelry. Perhaps yours is also a watch fob? Very nice find for you.....mine was bought at a yard sale about 20 years ago for $2.00.
