Art Nuevo..Egyptian period. Egyptian jewelry became quite the fad when King Tuts Tomb was discovered. I have had and sold a number of these items. early 1900's Don't remember the date with out looking it up. Considered antique jewelry. cheaply made from brass or gold filed material with semi precious gem stones even. Yours is a nice example of a necklace. To a collector of this period jewelry it would bring a price of 25 to probably 75 dollars depending on overall condition. Very nice find. Surprised it wasn't id'ed before.

hey everyone,
nope not near water/lol. was found by a very large bottle dump.
and i believe its not a necklace,i juct connected it to take pic of it.
the date tuts tomb was found by carter was 1922.
i had a repo sears catalog and it had horse accrutments looking very simular.just a guess on my part/lol.
p.s. also found a ncr cash registor brass store sign near the same place. the sign was made to be mounted on top of the cash registor.

Sorry, just like I said originally, I think it is Egyptian revival jewelry. Link probably broken off...Too ornate for horse tack..Unless in a circus and then it would be flashier and much larger.......As doc spock would say, not logical.. ;D ;D ;D

OK, here's a wild guess but I think the horse chain idea is much closer. In fact, think camel and a circus.
oh yes CAMEL
