I've asked google quite a few times but never found an answer.

In classic TV shows/movies I've seen foreign money depicted as huge bills. For example from I Love Lucy:

That money is almost the size of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper!

Did any countries actually have money like this? If so, where can you find it? If not, why did they depict money like this on TV?

Don't know about currently, but try doing an images search using the words vintage paper money from cuba. I use Bing, and some of thise bills are huge.

Found a picture of a French Banknote that is 7 5/8" x 4 1/2". I kept searching for "large old paper money" or some variant of that.

Yes, is the answer to your Q:
Measuring in at roughly the size of a sheet of legal paper, the world's largest single banknote is the 100,000-peso note created by the government of the Philippines in 1998. Designed to celebrate a century of independence from Spanish rule, the note was offered only to collectors, who could purchase one of the limited-edition notes for 180,000 pesos, or about $3,700.

Don.......

Those large denomination French notes are a work of art... very expensive and pretty huge.

The English white money is pretty cumbersome too but only rich people had to worry about it. These are smaller than A4 size but not much smaller.
