Found this round piece when swinging as I walked an old farm road now in the woods toward my target area. It was basically on the surface. Did not think much of it, threw it in my pocket. Cleaned it up a bit and am not sure what I have here.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498068647.019165.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498068656.385727.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498068665.720712.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498068675.052553.jpg
I've found silver plated pocket watches in the past and they are a bit bigger and usually really thin metal that is in bad shape. This is really hefty and solid. The shiny side not magnetic and no flaking, the ugly side has a little magnetic pull. No markings or stamps.

Tractor part? Pocket watch?

I would guess a rosette

I would guess gas cap to an old piece of farm equipment or car.

Could be the crown off a carriage lamp.

I am tending to the horse rosette ID. Location on an old 1800's dirt farm path and looking up horse rosette online it looks like the underside as often iron which would make sense for this guy. The typical iron hook fixture is rusted away for the most part
