Hello all,,,
I have to tell ya, you couldn't have ask for better weather here today, sunshine, high 50's, and not a lot of wind.
So, DaveDigs and I headed back out to Old Faithful for about 3 hours. All I was dig'n for quite a while were some Jefferson nickels and a few memorial pennies. We headed up a hill side and about half way up I hear the sweet sound of silver mixed in with a lot of trash all around it. I started dig'n and at about 5" down I see the 1920? Mercury dime. I think it 1920... It's in pretty bad conditions, but I'll take her... The marble was in the same hole along with a bottle cap, and a bent nail... The Cz did a pretty good job of pulling the merc from all that trash... DaveDigs still hasn't found him a piece of silver yet this year, but I'm sure it won't take him long to pass me by. He did manage to find a spot were he dug 7 Wheaties all within about a foot and a half from each other, and also found his first Indian Head cent for the year, a 1905... Hope ya all had some luck, going to checkout the other post...
Good luck & Happy huntring~
