I'll bet metal detecting a (old 50s-60s) abandoned drive - in theater would be a good spot:)
People walking around in the dark(half tanked) to the refreshment stand. They have to of dropped their silver change,on the ground.
I know for a fact, back then I didn't care squat about change.I probably dropped many silver dimes/quarters @ the drive-in.And a few Budweiser's :)

Just a short story about drive in theaters. Many years back when our local drive in was closed to make way for progress, aka new shopping malls, A friend knew the previous owners and asked permission to hunt it before they tore it all out and put in a new mall. He left in the morning to hunt it and wasn't home yet at dark to his wifes dismay, She thought something terrible happened to him, but all that happened is his legs were sore because his pockets were so full of silver and other good coins. He made many good recoveries from the old Altoona Drive in theater until it was finally demolished for the mall that is at that location now. True story. My friend had a bad stroke several years ago and is not able to do much of anything anymore, but he still gets excited when he repeats the story about detecting the old Altoona Drive In.
