Went to a public pool in my area and was able to find 2 wheats 1953 and 1945, a gold gilt button with Waterbury cos Conn. Back stamp it has some type of hunting or nature scene on the front. Also found $30 in change, bullet shell that is head stamped 43 TW and a green marble reflector... Any information on the bullet for a button would be great :-)

Nice day. Your ears must be ringing from finding $30 in change!

Looks like a large caliber casing, holy smokes!

The button looks like 50's or 60's since my wife's grandmother had buttons like that.

You started the year off in high gear! $30. In clad and some real nice finds! Awesome!
Hugh shell casing! Wonder what they were shooting at with that?

Is your reflector glass? Does it have a threaded stud on the back. Search Green License Plate Glass Reflector .Some vintage ones are bringing good money.

Wow, 30 bucks in clad. Great day... :laughing7:but did you find a babyruth floating in the water? Remember caddie shack?

That looks like a military button, but the picture is blurry. If your using a camera adjust the macro zoom.

Cool finds.:headbang: If you continue to pull $30 in coins daily for 365 days, in one year you'll have earned an extra $10,950, lol.:laughing7: Of course, depending on the hours consumed, it might not match whatever pay rate you have on your regular job. :tongue3: (I'm a retired goof-off with time to do the math. Plus I do random community service, no pay.) HAVE FUN! :icon_thumright: Andi

The backing is missing :-(

That would be awesome to pull that much change everyday :-)

Dont know much about the button or the reflector glass.
While I do not have one in front of me the bullet Casing my be for a 44 mag or 45 Long Colt with 43 being the year it was made but the LW is getting me... Maybe the stamp of the ammo maker. (I still could Be wrong).

BHG, Finding $30. in clad is very unusual - I think I hit $25. a couple of times - I'm guessing this was a lot of quarters and dimes ,
Nice to see you're getting out again ! (how long were you hunting to get to $30.)

Forgot to post a picture of the clad.. This was my largest clad count since I've been detecting largest number of quarters and dimes as well. 78 quarters 70 dimes, my first dollar coin and a clad half dollar too... Never seen change come out of the ground like that.. I counted at least like herfive pocket spills :-) what a really great long hunt :-)

Wow. I have never gotten that much clad! Have you been to banned camp?:tongue3: I haven't seen you post for awhile. Great hunt BHG!

Wow, if you pulled out that much change, there HAS to be some gold and silver jewelry hiding there too. I definitely would go back and hunt it again.
