Old Child's Locket

I apologize if this is duplicated, but I keep getting booted, so I'll try again.

This appears to be a child's locket - if anyone has more info I'd love to hear.

The bottom right is paper that was inside the top right piece.

p.s. - this was dug 6 inches down in 100 yr old farm house yard.

Is that a flower design, with stem, and three leafs or half moons?

Are the three half moon thinggys cut out?

Montana Jim - Yes it is a flower

and yes the three half moons are cut out - the top left one has a red something in it
and the top of the flower has a clear something in it.

Thanks... I shoulda asked... is it gold plated? And, are there any markings at all I am assuming if there were you woulda already said so - but I hafta ask...

There's no other markings.

I'm pretty new so I don't know enough to say if it's gold-plated.

It's gold colored, but I'd guess no on gold-plated (but just a guess).
