Hey all!
Found this today at an old torn down house location! I saw an old picture, dated 1961 of this location and the house was there. On an old map dated 1898, a house is plotted at this location, so it appears that it was a pre-1900's structure.
I can only provide one side image for the other side appears too corroded with large pits. Nothing on the other side can be disseminated.
The token is very light in weight, so I would assume that the token is made of aluminum. The readable side reads...."*JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL * CAFETERIA"!
Now, I can presume that this is some sort of lunch token. Has anyone ever seen a token such as this? Can anyone provide any insight regarding an item such as this?

Thanks!

Kib

interesting. I would assume it to be from the 40's or early 50's. didn't have tokens at my school back in the day, we had lunch tickets that were punched when used.

Brass! Wow, that is a beauty! Mine looks like crap and was made of crap aluminum. Thanks for the post!
