Hello all! Been a long time since I last logged on, glad to be back however. I just found this on an old mine camp site. I can’t find anything on google that matches up really. My question is, some type of button or something else? IMG_4016.JPG IMG_4017.JPG IMG_4027.JPG

I can't tell from the picture. Does it have a back and backmark? A backmark will tell the age.

It doesn’t have a back at all. It almost looked as if it were hollowed out and the back fell off. I’ll take another picture as soon as I’m back at the house

Tough one its in the British Navy style, but I can't make my mine up if it is!

Based on the style, I'm thinking it's a civilian clothing button as opposed to an actual Naval button Cru. :icon_scratch:
It looks to have a symbol above the anchor. At first I was thinking it was a crown, but it's not centered.

Date wise... 1880 - 1910.

Thanks for the replies. I posted a photo of the back as well in the original post. As for the years the mining camp remained open and used was 1901-1920
