Is that the back of the button? (picture with glasses)

Can you get a better picture of the front?

no,, that's not the back there,, i'm terrible with the camera,, this is scanned,, i'll have the wife do pics later on.....the letters to the left look to be..irrenaiedem,, but my sight ain't what it used to be .... it's a flat button with a common shank,, ( still intact...)

Now....is that button the size of a nickel orrrrrr half a dime? ;D

I dunno? But great button!!!! Like that lock tooooo!

Congrats on those finds, GreenOne!!!

Nana ;)

Green1, nice finds.
I can't help much with the button but the lock looks like it could have been used by the railroad. Here's a RR lock similar to yours that I found a while back.

Take care,

Love that lock!
Congrats to you,

new pic now,, there's a large n at the bottom the other writing is smaller... it's a flat button with a common shank....

yes jim,, it is...... ;D ;D ;D any ideas ??

Not really anything I would commit too... been looking for a bit now.

The only button I found with an "N" on the bottom was a Cadet Button with an "NU" on the bottom from Norwich University, VT. Yours is kinda tough to see, so I just don't know.

Thats all I got for now.

thanks guys !! the pic of mine is terrible but,, it's a definate there... ;D
looks like # 29 or 39.... thanks again....

It appears to be a phoenix button.

I'm gutted, when I first saw it I thought it looked like a phoenix but wanted a better pic to be sure. Although I thought it more likely a phoenix livery button.
