It's a Minie ball, could date anywhere between the Civil War to the present and water found bullets are tricky to date because the lead won't develop a patina underwater, and old bullets that wash out of the bank can lose patina if they are scoured by sand and current so you kind of have to rely on the location to get an idea of date.

I think this one is a modern black powder "minie" ball used for deer hunting during the muzzleloader season. My dad had a Lyman mold for one almost identical to this one. The flat nose is the give away.

Smokey’s correct, that was cast in a Lyman 575213 (or similar) old style mini ball mold, I cast mine exactly like yours
