Old buckle

Does anyone know what type of buckle this is and maybe a time frame it’s flattemed a little on the right side like this rev war cartridge buckle but not as pronounced the buckle I’m asking about is the brownish one first photo

Thank you I’ll try and take a better pic n post found a colonial dandy button lots of flat buttons also and a few old coppers that are unreadable

Here are better pics of the buckle for identification this stuff was found in the general area of where the buckle was found if that helps . This was property that was owned pre rev war but was purchased in 1790 and became a horse farm which had a big hotel and horse barns they produced quality trotting horses the buckle was found towards the back of the property also found 3 musket balls in different sections so far

I tend to agree with Crusader. The Buckle seems to be artisanal and therefore pre-industrial age. First part of the 19th century or earlier.

There is a Reference book (Whitehead) for buckles in Europe, yet in this Forum I noticed that its not fully congruently to America.

The last pic. seems to be the front end of a two piece button, yet it seems very large for a button. Hmmm...

The large non-ferrous object in the second row is horse / carriage related. I forgot the terminus technicus ... a sort of rein guide (Seen these advertised as medieval sword hangers or something often).

That button is missing it’s shank but it’s a fancy dandy button thought maybe someone could tell it’s age by the design and or give a clue as to what period the buckle could be from thanks for your input it is much appreciated! I’m trying to figure out if this area was the sight of the original colonial house or another later one because I have no clue where the original house sat found a deep 9 inches copper that of course is unreadable -working on it
