OLD BUCKLE?

Any ideas as to age or use? it's thin copper and appears to have had a gold wash.
it's size is 1 7/8" x 3 7/16"

Not sure one this one but would say it's probably a ladies buckle mid to late 1800's
Hopefully someone who knows more about it can give you more info

Yep agree with vayank54 on this one, late 1900s...usually Gilded or Mother of pearl, or possibly silvered Nice find
