This small chest was given to me by an uncle nearly 50 years ago. I think he picked it up in the Orient during WW2. It is made of mahogany and pewter. Inside it's lined with black velvet which is not original, and a mirror inside the lid. It's quite heavy, and about 5" in length. The mark on the bottom says HINGKEE so I assume it's Chinese. I'd love to know more about this piece and a possible value, if anyone has any info. Thanks!
