Old abandoned park still givin' it up. Seated, Barber and more!
I got out to do a little dirt fishin' on Sunday with my dad, unclevinn, brother-in-law and good friend Dan32981. We headed back to the old abandoned park. Yet again, it did not disappoint. In about 7 hours I managed an 1868 shield nickel, 2 1910 wheaties, an 1888 IHP. I also found a gold plated cufflink and a gold ring marked 1/20 on the inside. Dan found 2 IHP's dated 1906 and 1897. Unclevinn found a 1887 IHP. My brother-in-law found a really neat presidential token. My dad...... had his best day at this park. He found an 1896 Barber quarter, which is a blazer! Then he dug 2 seated dimes with in a foot of eachother. He then unearthed an 1899 barber half! In the same hole with the half was a 1919 buffalo, 1920 canadian penny and a 1913 wheatie! This park has been simply amazing to all of us. It is a huge area and I wonder if the well will ever be dry. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thanks for looking and happy hunting. Oh yeah, my dad also managed to find 2 V nickels and 3 IHP's.
