Up around you I woulden't know but in Southern Oklahoma, I would say around Hugo, old Ft. Towson along the Red river .

Back in the 60's a guy named Coker, from Hugo, borrowed someone's detector
and searched around the fireplace of an abandoned cabin and recovered over
$30,000 in face value gold coins. It was written up in treasure mags. I knew
his brother so I know it happened.
