Okay,, so I'm not the Ringmaster

But I did find a few rings in 2015,
Six .925 Silver, One 14kt. Gold, and Thirty junk rings.
I also recovered a .925 bracelet, a broken sterling bracelet, a broken sterling pin, and a .925 charm

I'd be happy with it. That gold ring, does that say "Madre"? As in Mother? Unique piece.

Nice haul of rings! You did well!
All mine were junk :(

Well I never...looks so similar to the one I plugged...008 (1).JPG

Nice pile of finds :occasion14:

You are a ring master in my eyes. :notworthy: The silvers are easy to detect as well as the junk ones IMHO. I need to have better discipline when it comes to digging mid tones when I am on public lands.

That's not a bad haul ATW. I did a bit better on the rings and stuff, but you did better on the silver coins. I would rather have coins, even though rings are probably more valuable and unique... something about silver coins makes me covet them!

Most of my rings were small (little girl) rings, and they weren't very good signals. I dug a bunch of little pieces of aluminum trying to dig deep sounding targets. Once in a while a silver coin or ring would appear, but mostly, just trash!

Best of luck to you brother!

NICE RING COLLECTION .....

We, (The Task Force For Metal Detecting Rights Foundation ), and I am a member and strong supporter, have been trying to get The NYC Parks and Recreation Department to accept metal detecting as a passive and harmless activity / hobby. I believe in the Educational rather than the Confrontational approach. The Parks Department has been issuing permits since 2008. These permits gave us access to a few parks in each of the 5 Counties that make up NYC. There have been quite a few bumps along the way but the Parks Department has taken a leap of faith. Last year we had permission to hunt in 33 city parks and 9 beaches. This year, 2016, our permit will allow us to hunt in 162 parks and 13 beaches.
My renewal application is in the mail and I am one happy camper.

Ive found 10 times the amount of rings if not more than he's found and Id never call myself "Ringmaster" cause I know there are plenty that have found more than me
I'd say you did just fine :icon_thumleft: - hope you continue it this year
