Okay Guy's Don't Freak out but look what I found today! GOLD Diamonds!

I know this is getting unreal but I'm getting spoiled finding these rings! This park has now produced 7 gold rings now needless to say I'm going to continue to hunt this park for awhile.

The gram wt. on the gold is 6 grams total both rings 14k the diamond ring 5 small stones and the silver ring is 5 grams.

Hey Onion,

Thought I would try again.

Have you been hitting City Parkin Denver? I was told that it had been worked out and I'm still finding good stuff there with my Explorer II. The stuff is down at about 8-10 inches though.? ?:)

Reeferman, City Park in Denver is all hunted out. I found everything years ago. The stuff that is 8-10 inches deep is all zinc pennies and beercaps. I know cause I left it there. Try another park, or another town. Better yet, try another state. I have CLEANED out Colorado.

Happy new year,

McSankicho

Uh Huh! Tell us another story. That's why I keep finding Mercs and wheatis huh? Better come back cuz you missed quite a few places ;D

Happy New Year :D

Hi Onion,

No. My first name is Reif. I live here in Denver. No you don't need to let me in on your hunting spots as I have quite enough to keep me busy for a long time. I was just curious. I got my Explorer II 4 months ago and have been very productive. I was just amazed at how much stuff is at City Park after being told it was hunted out. I love the Explorer II. Right noe I'm just cleaning the surface and wil start going for the depth.

Anyway, Happy Hunting and Happy New Year :)

OK Onion. The way I figure, you spend 1 hour getting dressed and getting there, 12 hours md'ing, 2 hours cleaning finds, 1 hour laying it out and photographing it, 1 hour posting it, 2 hours reading and answering all the other posts, 2 hours eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, at least an hour a day strokin' your Bounty Hunter, which leaves 3 hours all to yourself. I think I'm beginning to understand why they call you Onion :-X LOL No kidding dude, you got the nack. Keep on findin'~

Whoa there MS. Turkeys? That kinda hurts. I am new to this and haven't even gotten my MD yet, so I guess I am. But I have done my home work and am planning on going after pre-Indian war era relics. I think I've got some good leads and the overland trail ran right over the property I own. There were several cavalry posts in the area (111th Ohio Regulars) that guarded the wagons. That was back in the days when Colorado was still part of the Nebraska territory. Several large sqirmishes in the immediate area. I'd be interested in hearing about your techniques in a positive way. If not I guess I'll just get trashed and call people names ;D. Seems like a good way to get started...NOT.

What you gotta realize C-2 is anyone that makes the statement "I don't even keep my smelly old Mercury dimes, I toss'em back in the hole" should be on the THANKSGIVING PLATE? ;D Gobble Gobble,? ;D ; Jeff

All this primping and preening and there aren't even any women around! Why don't you braggarts put some pics where your mouths are. It would be much more enjoyable than all the one-upsmanship. 8)

Hey McSancho. Thanks for the info. Actually I'm on the northbound loop of the trail near Mariano Medina's Thompson River Station. My hat's off to your research abilities though. You're absolutely right, it was the 11th calvary and I had to go back and read my posting to see that I had a typo in that regard. I have a question for you though since you're a buckle efficienado. How is it that we find these buckles at all? Why would a calvary soldier lose a belt? Especially if there were a sabre on it. Thanks for all the info and recommended reading. I'll let you know how my hunt progresses and plan on putting pics up as soon as warranted. Oh and BTW I'll never tell anyone you never gave me anything. Hell you gave me a hard time before I even new who you were. HH. Take care and keep findin'~CO2
