I just posted the same thing in the fossil section. I thought it was a tooth, but they ID’d it as a deer toe bone as well. Seems to be pretty unanimous.

I myself was thinking the End of a digit but a Deer Toe bone ? I'd have to look more into that just because of how deep it was in solid clay.And also that Deer have Hoofs ????? Yes it is. Solved
